Shin Leads After Second Round at Samsung
Things can’t get much better for Jiyai Shin right now. She’s been playing some unbelievable golf in her rookie year on the PGA tour, and she’s got the lead at the Samsung World Championship after the second round.
She shot a 3-under 69 today, and has a one shot lead over Lorena Ochoa and Ai Miyazato going into the third round tomorrow.

Any time that Ochoa is in contention, it makes for an exciting weekend. Though she definitely hasn’t played her best golf this year, she could turn things around with a victory this weekend, and maybe build a little momentum heading into the end of the year. It should be an intriguing weekend in San Diego.
