Choi Wins the Samsung World Championship

Well, she almost let it slip away. But in the end, Na Yeon Choi captured the victory at the Samsung World Championship.
In what turned into a two player race for most of the final round, Choi finished at 16-under par for the championship, while Ai Miyazato came in one shot back at 15-under.
You can view the final leaderboard over at Golf.com.
Choi birdied the 18th to hold off Miyazato, who had another great tournament, but she fell just short of the win.
Second round leader Jiyai Shin had her worst round of the week, shooting a 74, to finish all the way back at 11-under. That earned her third place though, as the next closest after that were Paula Creamer and Lorena Ochoa. They both finished at 9-under for the tournament.
All in all, a good tournament for the LPGA, especially in a week where the PGA was off. Even though only two players were really in contention in the final round, it still made for an exciting finish. It was a pretty loaded field too, so you got to see the best players in the women’s game.
If you watched any of the action this week, I’d like to hear your thoughts on the tournament!
Have a great night everyone!
