Perry Wins the 2009 Payne Stewart Award

Here’s one of the best stories in golf today, as Kenny Perry was awarded the prestigous Payne Stewart Award. The award is given to the guy who shares Stewart’s honor and respect for the game of golf, and it couldn’t have been given to a better guy.

You can find a nice little story on it over at Golf.com.

Glad to see Perry win this, as it’s certainly hard not to root for the guy. I’m still upset about the loss at the Masters, so I could only imagine how he feels about it.

But he’s definitely a class act, as was Stewart.

Way to go Kenny!

    Congrats to Perry. Great golfer to watch play. He always plays his signature draw. He’s like Vijay, playing well in his late years.
