A Familiar Face On Top After Round Two in Atlanta

After a good round yesterday, there was little doubt that Tiger Woods would make his way towards the top of the leaderboard today. Tiger is your leader after two rounds at the Tour Championship, and looks to have all the confidence in the world heading into the weekend.

But Woods’ lead isn’t as large as he may want, as Padraig Harrington and Sean O’Hair are both at 4-under par for the championship. Paddy and Tiger will be paired again tomorrow, so it should make for lots of excitement at East Lake, as these two tend to bring out the best in each other in the final rounds of golf tournaments.

Ernie Els also had a great second round, shooting a 4-under 66, which moves him to 3-under for the tournament.

Kenny Perry rebounded from a 72 yesterday to shoot 66 today, which puts him at 2-under, along with Jerry Kelly.

And after a tough start yesterday, Phil Mickelson has at least put himself into contention after shooting a 66 today, and currently sits at even par heading into the weekend.

Great day of golf, and we’ve got a ton of intrigue set up for the weekend. I love it when Tiger and Paddy play together on the weekend, so I can’t wait to see the action tomorrow. I believe that the tee times are being moved up tomorrow as well, as rain is suppose to head into Atlanta sometime during the day.

Have a great night everyone!
