Kenny Perry Overtakes Tiger in Round Three

Being a huge Kenny Perry fan, I was excited to see him shoot 64 today at East Lake, and put himself atop the leaderboard after round three of the Tour Championship.

Here’s the AP story on the day’s action in Atlanta. You can also view the full leaderboard over at Golf.com.

Perry had a solid round yesterday of 66, and did two better today, which in turn puts him two up on Tiger Woods heading into Sunday. Tiger shot a 69 in today’s round.

Tiger has a familiar foe behind him after round three, as Phil Mickelson shot a 66 today, and is only four shots off the lead right now. So glad to see Phil playing well again, as the tour isn’t the same when he’s not at the top of his game. Sean O’Hair is also at 4-under, after shooting even par today.

It should be an exciting finish tomorrow at East Lake, and although I picked Tiger to win it, I’d like to see Perry or Mickelson come out on top.

Have a great night everyone and enjoy the final round tomorrow!

I'm excited to see it go down tomorrow! Let's hope that $11 million putt happens! It was great to see Phil play well, it's been awhile and too long for that matter since he was near the top of a leaderboard heading into Sunday. Check out our blog http://doin-work.com
