Yep, that’s right ladies and gentlemen. It appears that Tiger Woods and Padraig Harrington have been put on the clock once again. Where? At the Tour Championship this past weekend.
Remember when the two were playing together in the third round on Saturday? That’s apparently when the clocking happened. Ahhh, those pesky PGA officials. Always looking to stir something up.
Yes, I know it is a part of the rules, and it has to be in order to keep rounds from lasting hours upon hours. But again, we’re talking about two of the best players in the world, and again, two guys who were in the final pairing of the day. When it comes to these two, do we really care how long they play?
It’s been proven that Tiger equals ratings. So forget about all this timing stuff. No one cares but the rules officials, so let the guys play.
Of course, this was a non-issue this time around, but honestly, I’m tired of hearing about these guys being put on the clock. It’s ridiculous.
