This is a day where you can actually be your favorite golfer…..if of course you can find an awesome costume of them. Of course, if we could actually acquire their golfing skills when putting the costume on, that would probably be a better deal for all of us.

Happy Halloween Golf Fans!
While we haven’t seen a ton of big names playing here lately, there are several of them competing at the Singapore Open right now, as Ian Poulter has taken the early lead at the tournament.
Well most of the talk this LPGA season has been about finding a new commissioner that would lead the tour after Carolyn Bivens was pretty much shown the door after the LPGA continued to lose some of its sponsors under her watch. The search for a new commissioner has come to an end, and Michael Whan will be your new commissioner.
Well when George W. Bush was in office, he didn’t seem to play a whole lot of golf. However, that’s quite different these days in the White House, as Barack Obama has already tied Bush for number of rounds played in their respective terms in office.
Although a lot of familiar faces weren’t around this weekend, there was still a great golf tournament played in Scottsdale, with Troy Matteson eventually winning in a playoff.
Remembering Payne Stewart
You’ll probably hear this a lot over the next few days, but it rings true to so many people. It’s hard to believe that it’s been ten years since the tragic death of Payne Stewart, and it was a day that will likely never be forgotten by players and fans alike.
A couple of days ago, I talked about the excitement that would come with seeing Rory McIlroy play an entire PGA tour schedule in 2010. Well, so much for that.
The PGA Grand Slam has come to a close, and U.S. Open champion Lucas Glover came out on top in the battle of the major winners.
A an event that is always fun began today, as the PGA Grand Slam got underway with Lucas Glover shooting a course record to take the early lead.

In case you don’t know, the event pits the four major winners of the year in what can be seen as a best of the best showdown. Glover clearly had a nice round today, shooting the record 65 at Port Royal Golf Course.
Well it seems as though one of the future stars in the golfing world will be playing a lot more in the United States next season, as Rory McIlroy has committed to play the PGA schedule in 2010.
Of course there isn’t the same kind of hype surround this week’s golf tournament in Vegas as there was last week in San Francisco, but still some good golf action going on at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open this weekend.
Well Anthony Kim has sure been in the news a lot this past week, and while the previous story dealt with Kim off the course, this story deals with Kim on the course.
