United States Wins the Presidents Cup

It was another great weekend of golf, and it ended with the United States winning the Presidents Cup in a rout. The Americans completely dominated the singles matches today, and eventually won 19 1/2 to 14 1/2.

U.S. Leads After Day One at the Presidents Cup

The first day of the Presidents Cup has come and gone, and the United States has a 3 1/2 to 2 1/2 lead over the European team. It was a great day of golf, with some pretty exciting matches taking place throughout the day. The two big teams for the United States got the job done, which was no surprise considering the pairings for the day. Here’s a small AP story on the day’s action. Thursday's Presidents Cup Pairings Announced

The pairings were announced today for Thursday’s opening matches at the Presidents Cup, and there are definitely some interesting choices. The pairing of Phil Mickelson and Anthony Kim will kick things off for the United States team, as they’ll be taking on Tim Clark and Mike Weir. Should be a very intriguing matchup there, with some long-ball hitters in that crew.

Ochoa Finally Gets Another Victory

It hadn’t happened since April, which is quite unusual for Lorena Ochoa, but she finally broke through and picked up the win today at the Navistar LPGA Classic. Ochoa only had to shoot a 2-under 70 today to pick up the win, as the next closest people to her were Michelle Wie and Brittany Lang, who finished four shots back.
