Well we all knew that more would come out about accident this morning that Tiger Woods suffered just outside his home. Now they are calling it a “minor” accident, and not a serious accident. And it seems as though the extent of the injury was some deep facial lacerations and other things of that nature.

This is definitely not the kind of news that we want to talk about, but it was just reported a little while ago that Tiger Woods was in a serious car accident early this morning outside of his home.

No golf talk today here on Pro Golf Now…..because it’s Thanksgiving! It’s a time to be thankful for everything that has been given to us in life, and day to spend some quality time with our family and friends.

I just wanted to take the time to congratulate Lee Westwood on his big victory in Dubai, as he won the Dubai World Championship by a solid six strokes, and won the Race to Dubai in the process.

Well let’s be honest, there hasn’t been a golfer over the past few months that has been as outspoken as Robert Allenby. And well, he’s talking yet again, and it’s sort of turned some heads. This time? He believes that American players have it too easy.

We all knew that there were some sponsorship problems with the LPGA heading into next season, and that has forced next year’s schedule to only include 24 events for the women on tour.

Anytime we pass over talking about a Tiger Woods win here at Pro Golf Now, you know that there must be another huge story taking place in the world of golf. And that is the case this time around, as Michelle Wie has finally picked up her first LPGA win, by winning the Lorena Ochoa Invitational.

After the third round of action at the JBWere Masters, the leader was still Tiger Woods at 10-under par. I sort of predicted that he would lead from start to finish, and so far, I’ve been pretty spot-on.

I said a few days ago that I thought that this could be one of those tournaments where Tiger Woods led from start to finish. Well, so far so good, as Tiger does indeed have the lead heading into the weekend’s action.

After last week’s breakdown on Sunday, we had to sort of expect that Tiger Woods would come out firing on all cylinders in Australia, and that’s exactly what he did. Woods has taken a share of the first round after shooting a 66 to open things up this week.

While Phil Mickelson hasn’t had the best of years on or off the course, he’s certainly made a great run here to end the season. And he added a victory at the HSBC Champions to that run, as he held off Ernie Els to pick up the win.

Well it looks like we’re going to be in for another showdown between the two greatest golfers in the world, as Phil Mickelson has taken the lead at the HSBC Champions. He currently has a two shot lead over Tiger Woods, who sits at 12-under for the tournament. Nick Watney is tied with Woods for the second spot as well.
