Tiger Grabs Share of Lead With Watney

As if you would expect anything different, Tiger Woods has managed to find his way to the top of the leaderboard after round two at the HSBC Champions. First round leader Nick Watney is also still at the top after shooting a 70 for the round.

Since Tiger Woods is playing this week, there’s a good chance that the HSBC Champions event has caught your attention a little bit. But there’s a surprising leader after round one, as Nick Watney shot a 64 for the first round, which tied a course record.

FedEx Cup Point System to Stay the Same

That’s right, golf fans. It seems as though there will be no changes made in the FedEx Cup point system for 2010. Now while I thought that this year’s FedEx Cup was somewhat of a success, this is a little surprising to me. Perhaps it’s not the fact that they aren’t going to change anything, but maybe it’s the fact that they aren’t even going to discuss it is my biggest problem. Barron Suspended For Violating PGA Tour Drug Policy

Poulter Wins at Singapore Open, Fisher Wins Match Play

Two pretty exciting golf tournaments took place this weekend, and both ended with some well-known names taking home the victory. At the Singapore Open, your winner was Ian Poulter, who won by one stroke. And at the World Match Play Championship, Ross Fisher took out Anthony Kim in the final to win.
