We continue our look back at 2009 today, as this time around, I want to ask you about your favorite golf moment of 2009. There were certainly a lot of moments that were newsworthy, but some of them just stood out as great moments in the year of golf.

As we get closer and closer towards the end of the year 2009, it’s time to start reflecting on that year that was in professional golf. While we’ve had plenty to talk about off the course as of late, today, we turn our attention to the things that happened on the course.
Tiger Loses His Golf Digest Column For Now
So the changes keep on coming for Tiger Woods, as he’s lost sponsors, may lose his wife, and has now lost his Golf Digest column…..at least for now.
Golf in 3D?
If you think you’ve seen golf from just about every angle possible, and seen it in every possible way, then there might be something that expands your golf viewing ways even further. That’s right, the PGA is working on creating 3D broadcasts for tournaments.

I don’t know about you, but the Tiger Woods affair stuff is starting to weigh on me a little bit. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if other continue to come out, but at this point, does it really matter how many more come out? I doubt that this will surprise anyone considering all that has taken place in the last few weeks or so, but Tiger Woods has officially taken an indefinite leave from the game of golf.
The Golden Bear Speaks on Tiger
As the Tiger Woods stories continue to mount up, well, we’ve pretty much got no choice but to bring you a whole lot of coverage about it. With this being a slow time of year on the course, I suppose we should thank Tiger for giving us something to talk about. Of course, I would rather have nothing to talk about than see this guy’s popularity drifting into a downward spiral. But, we move on.
