And the 2014 British Open Will Be Held At…..

It was announced today that the 2014 British Open will be taking place at Royal Liverpool, which last held the event in 2006. The winner the last time the British was played there? Why, who else? Mr. Tiger Woods.

As most of my readers know, the British Open is probably by favorite event of the year, though the Masters is a close second. Tom Watson‘s performance at last year’s British backs up my statement that this is simply a can’t miss event. Now, I don’t expect a story like that to captivate fans of the tournament every single year, but it does seem to always offer something thrilling.

You can check out the Royal Liverpool course by visiting their website. Even though we’re still four years away, you can bet that those in the UK are already excited to be able to go back to this venue, as it’s always been an outstanding place for a golf tournament.

And well, we could probably expect Tiger back by then.
