One of the few Americans that is competing in Abu Dhabi this weekend has started his tournament well.

Jason Dufner, the eleventh rank golfer in the world,  is just four strokes off the lead and played a conservative, well thought out round Thursday.

Dufner Boogied the sixth hole, but was able to birdie both eight and eighteen to put him tied for 16th with several other players. A top ten finish for him is well within reach. More is certainly possible.

Dufner is schedule to tee off at 11:55 am local time, which translate to 2:55 am EST.
