Despite having average days Friday, Sergio Garcia and Thorbjorn Olesen still have shot at the Qatar Masters.
Garcia sits four back form the lead, while Olesen is nestled in at -10 and five back. The course has shown to be vulnerable to golfers who are able to get on hot streaks. These players are also known to get on those streaks.
Garcia simply had a rough go at the back half of the back nine. He bogeyed both 15 and 18 which really hurt his positioning. However, only being four back it could be worst.
Olesen did not have a very good day Friday. He played birdie, bogey, birdie, bogey throughout the day but picked up an eagle to help him push his day to -2. It will be interesting to see if he can rebound. I think he can.
Qatar took a hit Friday, in that its major players got replaced. However things could get interesting tomorrow morning.
