The Weekend that Was: Brandt Snedeker

Brandt Snedeker has a lot of positives to look to after finishing tied for second at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Snedeker saw his score at -11 at one point in the tournament, but ended up falling to -10 to finish. He tied with Jost Teater.

Snedeker is currently the seventh ranked player in the world. He played like it throughout the weekend. His best round of the open was his first day, where he recorded a -7. He looked poised to compete for the title, however a +3 on round two hurt his chances. Especially after Tiger went on his tear.  However, he was able to record back-to-back -3 to finish -10 and collect a tidy sum of money.

I, like almost everyone else, expects that Snedeker will have a stellar season this year. He should be one of the favorites to come away with a major.
