The Omega Dubai Desert Classic has just gotten very interesting.
After his stellar day Thursday, Richard Sterne was sitting at -10 and looking sharp. However, his -2 Friday has brought him back to the pack and now have multiple players breathing down his neck. One of his competitors is the always-present Thorbjorn Olesen.
Olesen had a great month of February. He continually was seen challenging for top ten spots in tournaments and finished second in Abu Dhabi. He is now eleven under, after shooting a -5 and -6 the first two days.
Other competitors that Sterne needs to watch out for are Tommy Fleetwood and Stephen Gallacher. They are also just a shot back. There is a slue of players that are three or less shots behind.
