Despite his interruption, the top guys of the tournament so far have been very popular players. Sergio Garcia is in second place, and the 22nd best player in the world, Matt Kuchar, has the lead. The two birdied four similar holes. Garcia finished one stroke behind at -6.
An interesting group has surfaced at three below as well. Lee Westwood, Jim Furyk and Fred Couples all sit there and should make for an entertaining round if they can stick together.
It is still the first day however, so there will be a lot of change over the next three days.
