Lindsey Vonn says she will talk marriage, but wants a prenup that would pay off like a lottery ticket if Tiger cheats. Woods spent over $110 Million dollars getting out his marriage with Elin Nordegren, and Vonn wants a large chunk of his $600 Million net worth if he decides to wander again.
Tiger Woods just won The Players championship, and at 37 years old, is looking to get his personal life together. His relationship with the Olympic skier is moving quickly, and they are looking to possibly take it to the next level.
Fourteen year-old Chinese star, Tianlang Guan makes his third start on The PGA Tour on Thursday morning at The HP Byron Nelson Championship. Guan made history last month by being the youngest to ever play at The Masters, but now the youngest to make the 36 hole cut. He also played at The Zurich Classic of New Orleans where he made the cut, but finished last in the field at tournaments end.
Guan has been in the Dallas area where he will attempt to qualify for the US Open which tees of next month at Merion. Is he too young to consider playing on the PGA Tour in a full-time capacity?
Dustin Johnson has withdrawn from his third consecutive golf tournament this week due to health issues. Johnson announced that he is pulling out of The HP Byron Nelson which is set to tee off on Thursday morning with continued back problems. He withdrew from The Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow, citing problems with his wrist. He pulled out of the Players last week with back problems.
Johnson got off to a great start to the 2013 season with a win at The Hyundai Tournament of Champions back in January. Considered the PGA’s best athlete, he scored three consecutive top fifteen finishes this year, including a T 4 at The Shell Houston Open. He made a start at The Players, and after shooting a 2 over 74 in the first round, withdrew prior to teeing off on Friday morning.
Jack Nicklaus got some good news, and some bad news on Tuesday this week when Tiger Woods committed to playing in The Memorial which will tee off for the Memorial Day weekend. The bad news, if you plan to attend the tournament this year, your cell phone will be confiscated if you get caught using it anywhere other than designated areas.
Phil Mickelson withdrew last year after the first round when he became distracted by fans using cell phones around the course. The PGA Tour has instituted a policy regarding cell phones but has been lax in enforcing the policy. The Memorial will have a Zero Tolerance Policy this year, and your cell phone will be taken.
The Memorial will feature four of the top six players in the world as warm up for the US Open. Number one, Tiger Woods, Number two, Rory McIlroy, Number three, Adam Scott, and Number six, Luke Donald.
