The PGA has taken the lead from other sports around the country, and are going to let you, the fans, vote on pin placements at next months PGA Championship. Don’t get too excited, you won’t be asked to select all of the pins, just placement on the 181 yard par three fifteenth hole during Sunday’s final round. The PGA Championship gets underway on Thursday August 8th at the Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester New York. According to Razorgator.com, grounds passes for Thursday begin for as low as $39.
The PGA Championship will be the last major tournament for the 2013 season, and will mark the end of the regular season on the PGA Tour. It will be the last chance for players to accumulate FedEx Cup points for 2013, and the playoffs will begin shortly afterwards.

The PGA Tour makes its annual trek across our Northern border this week for The RBC Canadian Open at the Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ontario. We will see a pretty strong field in Canada considering the tournament is on the heels of the Open Championship last week. But considering the official end of the FedEx Cup season is looming, players needing to pad their statistics before the playoffs start, will be there for their piece of the $5.6 Million dollar purse, and the coveted FedEx Points available.
