The 2015-16 PGA Tour season picked up right where last season left off. The Frys.com Open was a fun tournament overall and the finish was even better.

The final round had so many contenders that would pop up, then fall off, and some rose up again. You didn’t know who would ultimately come out on top. As it turned out, 72 holes wasn’t enough, a playoff was needed. That is where we saw Emiliano Grillo defeat Kevin Na in two holes.

We can only hope that the Shriners Hospital for Children Open is just as thrilling this week.

One thing we can guarantee is that it will be a shootout. The last five winners have all been at least 20-under.

Ben Martin won at 20-under last year, while Webb Simpson and Ryan Moore won at 24-under in 2013 and 2012, respectively.

In 2011, Kevin Na shot a 23-under, and in 2010, 21-under was good enough for Jonathan Byrd to win. So, expect a lot of birdies and eagles.

Also, expect a solid enough field. Many of the golfers that were in Napa will be making the trek to Sin City for the Shriners Hospital for Children Open. Along with a number of other notable golfers. And with that, let’s get to the Shriners Open power rankings.
