These 10 shots encapsulate the drama, excitement, and magic of the 2015 LPGA season.

In a year of great golf shots on the LPGA it’s quite a challenge to pick the top ten. From start to finish it was a year of surprises, beginning with the Coates Golf Championship, with Na Yeon Choi and Jessica Korda battling their way down the back nine on Sunday and ending with Cristie Kerr and Gerina Piller doing the same thing at the CME Tour Group Championship.

Those one shot victories for Na Yeon Choi and Cristie Kerr involved tests of endurance and nerve.

In addition to the battles for the top of the board that typically involve sustained, steady championship-level play, the season was also peppered with exhilarating single shots of sheer golf magic, the kind we all dream of making, the clutch putt, the hole out from a greenside bunker, the eagle from the fairway.

They aren’t necessarily shots that lead to the win, and in most cases they came in the midst or rounds that weren’t particularly memorable. These moments of perfection are often small gifts from the golf gods that keep us coming back to the game as fans and as players.
