A Look Back at a Wild Week of Golf in July of 2009

As I’ve stated many times before, the idea behind starting a pro golf blog was fueled by Tom Watson’s performance at the British Open last year. I simply had to write about golf, and I had all the motivation to do so. However, when starting after the British Open, I looked at the schedule. The PGA Tour had the RBC Canadian Open, the LPGA Tour had the Evian Masters, and the senior circuit had the Senior British Open. Not a bad little lineup for a golf fan. Ai Miyazato Wins First LPGA Event of 2010

Choi Wins the Samsung World Championship

Well, she almost let it slip away. But in the end, Na Yeon Choi captured the victory at the Samsung World Championship.
In what turned into a two player race for most of the final round, Choi finished at 16-under par for the championship, while Ai Miyazato came in one shot back at 15-under.
