Poulter Wins at Singapore Open, Fisher Wins Match Play

Two pretty exciting golf tournaments took place this weekend, and both ended with some well-known names taking home the victory. At the Singapore Open, your winner was Ian Poulter, who won by one stroke. And at the World Match Play Championship, Ross Fisher took out Anthony Kim in the final to win.

This is a day where you can actually be your favorite golfer…..if of course you can find an awesome costume of them. Of course, if we could actually acquire their golfing skills when putting the costume on, that would probably be a better deal for all of us.

Didn’t get a chance to watch much of the action today, as college football got underway. I watch a whole lot of golf, but thought that I’d join in on the college football fever today and watch some games.
However, did see a little bit at TPC Boston, and saw enough to realize that Jim Furyk is playing very well right now. He and Sean O’Hair are your co-leaders after the second round, both at 12-under par.

Well action for the day has completed at Liberty National in New Jersey, with some fairly low scores being posted on the round.
It seems that Sergio Garcia has forgot about that rough final round last week at the Wyndham, as he shares the lead at 6-under par with Steve Marino and Paul Goydos.
