We all knew that there were some sponsorship problems with the LPGA heading into next season, and that has forced next year’s schedule to only include 24 events for the women on tour.

It hadn’t happened since April, which is quite unusual for Lorena Ochoa, but she finally broke through and picked up the win today at the Navistar LPGA Classic.

Off the heels of a great golf tournament, the LPGA tour has lot a pretty big event. It was announced today that the Michelob Ultra Open at Kingsmill is losing its sponsorship, therefore there will be no more event.
