And well, he’s talking yet again, and it’s sort of turned some heads. This time? He believes that American players have it too easy.
Seriously, is he going to continue to do this? First he rips into Anthony Kim, and then gets it handed to him by Kim out on the course. Now he’s talking about American golfers having it easy?

Well let’s be honest, there hasn’t been a golfer over the past few months that has been as outspoken as Robert Allenby.

Does he not realize who these guys play against? They’re competing against the greatest golfer of all-time, Tiger Woods. Yet they have it easy? I don’t think so. I know, I know. He’s talking about more of a money thing than competition. And while I know the players want a shot at some big money, they also want a shot at glory. And they’ll get that glory if they knock off Tiger.

But I guess Allenby will continue to give his thoughts, and there’s nothing wrong with that. While I may not agree with them, he does have the right to his opinion. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what Allenby says next.

Two pretty exciting golf tournaments took place this weekend, and both ended with some well-known names taking home the victory. At the Singapore Open, your winner was Ian Poulter, who won by one stroke. And at the World Match Play Championship, Ross Fisher took out Anthony Kim in the final to win.

I think these two guys are guys that we usually talk about as a dark horse in a major championship, and these two wins prove that these two have the ability to play some great golf at times.

Poulter is a guy that has to break through and win a major, and I would probably predict that he’ll do it next season. Meanwhile, Fisher has such a bright future in this game, and he was playing well at the British Open earlier this season. He’ll me a major winner soon enough as well.

Of course, the big winner on the weekend was Kim, who took out Robert Allenby in route to the finals at the World Match Play. As you probably know by know, Allenby didn’t speak too kindly of Kim at the Presidents Cup earlier this month.

Despite the loss in the finals, I’d say Kim probably enjoyed that more than anything in quite some time.

And finally, our best wishes go out to Joey Sindelar, who suffered a pulmonary embolism at the Charles Schwab Cup Championships this weekend. He’s still recovering in the hospital, and we all hope that Sindelar has a speedy recovery.
