It’s Monday morning, which means it’s time to take a look back at this weekend’s action at the BMW Championship. Plenty of interesting things to talk about, so let’s get right to it:

As if there was any doubt, Tiger Woods managed to hang on to that seven shot lead heading into the final round, and won the BMW Championship today at Cog Hill.
Woods didn’t play particular great today, but it would have been kind of hard to knock off the course record for a second straight day. He shot a 3-under 68 to win the tournament by eight shots, which is vintage Tiger.
So of all the days I could have missed a round of golf, why did it have to be yesterday? And of course, what does Tiger Woods do? He shoots a Cog Hill course record (62) and sits at 16-under par for the tournament.
The next closest person to him heading into the final round? Brandt Snedeker. At 9-under, and seven shots back.
Tiger Makes His Way To the Top
In a not-so surprising turn of events at the BMW Championship, a man named Woods has found a way to get to the top of the leaderboard. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, Tiger Woods is at the top.
Woods shot a round a 4-under par 67 today, and has made his way atop the leaderboard, and is currently tied with Mark Wilson at 7-under. Here’s the AP story on the day’s action.

Rory Sabbatini is clearly a little angry after being left off the Presidents Cup team, and shot a 5-under 66 in the first round today. But we’ll see if that can be used as momentum throughout the entire week.
Things get going today at Cog Hill, as the FedEx Cup race continues at the BMW Championship. And then things get started tomorrow for the ladies at the P&G Beauty NW Arkansas Championship.
