Tiger Wins the BMW Championship…..Easily

AUTHOR: Blake Lovell | IN: BMW Championship, FedEx Cup Playoffs, Tiger Woods | COMMENTS: 2 Comments

As if there was any doubt, Tiger Woods managed to hang on to that seven shot lead heading into the final round, and won the BMW Championship today at Cog Hill.
Woods didn’t play particular great today, but it would have been kind of hard to knock off the course record for a second straight day. He shot a 3-under 68 to win the tournament by eight shots, which is vintage Tiger.

Didn’t get a chance to see much of the action today at Cog Hill, but here’s an AP story recapping the day’s golf in Chicago.
And you can view the full leaderboard here.
Rory Sabbatini is clearly a little angry after being left off the Presidents Cup team, and shot a 5-under 66 in the first round today. But we’ll see if that can be used as momentum throughout the entire week.
