12th Hole

Many have described the Olympic Golf Course at Reserva de Marapendi as having a links like feel to it, and when you look at the 12th hole it’s not hard to see why.

The hardest hole on the course so far this week with an average score of 4.307, the 12th is also the longest par four on the track, measuring in at 514 yards. With only 12 birdies across the first three rounds, this hole is really about working for your par and moving on.

Standing on the tee, there’ll be no shortage of sand in the players’ eyelines with native waste down the left and jutting out into a fairway bunker close to driving distance, creating very little margin for error. With the green guarded by more native sand area on three sides, there’s nothing forgiving about the approach to this elevated green.
