Rafa Cabrera Bello comes to Sedgefield fresh off a Sunday 64 that netted a T10 at the PGA Championship.

The Spaniard has quietly had a nice year splitting time between the PGA Tour and European Tour: T6 in Dubai, T3 at the WGC-Mexico, T8 at the BMW PGA Championship, fourth at the Italian Open, and T17 at the WGC-Bridgestone.

He made the cut in all four majors in 2018.

This will be RCB’s third Wyndham start. He finished T5 in his last appearance in 2016 and was in contention going into Sunday. A Thursday 63 set him up for a big week.

On the PGA Tour this season, the 34-year-old is ninth in strokes gained on approaches and 17th tee to green. He’s also got a good short game. He used a little bit of everything to reach 9-under at the PGA.

With some history on these greens, I see Cabrera Bello holing just enough putts to be relevant late on Sunday.
