Kevin Na is making his seventh Tour Championship appearance. Pretty good, right? Yes, but his results here haven’t been pretty. He took 29th in his last start in 2016 and hasn’t fared better than T16.

Na’s had a decent playoff run with results of T15-MC-T12. He was just five off the lead last week and fired a Friday 62.

On the season, Na embodies his grinder reputation by ranking 16th in strokes gained putting and eighth in strokes gained around the green. He’s even fought to shed his reputation as a slow player, and has found greater success along the way.

He was a winner this year at the Military Tribute at the Greenbrier, but East Lake is a different beast. Between the quality of the competition, and his history here, we’re not expecting big things from Na. It may click for him one day in Atlanta, but don’t look for that to be this week.
