Bubba Watson Wins the Travelers Championship
There was certainly a lot of interesting action this weekend in Hartford, as the Travelers Championship had some very interesting storylines. Justin Rose got out to the quick start, and opened up with rounds of 64 and 62, which made him look invincible the first two days. U.S. Ryder Cup captain Corey Pavin was in the mix all weekend long, before losing in the playoff. But in the end, it was Bubba Watson who was the story, as he shot a final round 66, and picked up his first every PGA Tour victory.
Travelers Championship TV Schedule
Though this week’s Travelers Championship may feel like a letdown to some after the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, trust me, there’s still going to be some great golf being played in Hartford. Kenny Perry comes into the tournament as the defending champion, and will be looking to hoist the trophy for the second year in a row.
Predictions: Travelers Championship
Welcome everyone to another edition of predictions here on Pro Golf Now, as this week, we focus our attention on the Travelers Championship. Last week, my predictions weren’t exactly spot-on, as I picked Zach Johnson to get the victory at Pebble Beach. If it wasn’t for that pesky 14th hole, he probably would have had a shot, but I’m confident with my picks for this week. So let’s get right to the predictions!
Thanks to Fed Ex for Providing This Video
Golf fans, let’s give a big thanks to Fed Ex for providing us with this video. With Fed Ex, you clearly have options. And during the U.S. Open this past weekend at Pebble Beach, it looked like players needed more options to get the ball in the hole. I’d say that there were definitely some who would have preferred to kick the ball towards the cup, as opposed to hitting the difficult shots they had to hit. It’s suppose to be hard on the professionals, but if the the rules of golf allowed the average golfer the kicking option, there [...]
Graeme McDowell Wins the 2010 U.S. Open
If you watched final round coverage of the U.S. Open today, you might equate it with the word “difficult.” That feeling was set early on when Dustin Johnson, leader after the third round, had a triple bogey on the second hole, in route to an 82 on the day. That pretty much set the pace for everyone else on the day, as it sort of became a tournament where you wondered who was going to make the next bad shot. But one man limited his mistakes. And that man was Graeme McDowell, who shot a 74 on the round, and [...]
Tiger Makes a Run in Round Three of the U.S. Open
He’s baaaaaaack. Sure, maybe it’s not the Tiger Woods that we saw at Pebble Beach in 2000, or even the Tiger we saw at Torrey Pines in 2008. But after today’s round, there’s no doubt that Tiger is indeed back to playing some great golf. He shot a 66 in the third round, and once play ends this evening, he’ll likely only be four or five shots off the lead heading into tomorrow.
2010 U.S. Open TV Schedule
The 110th U.S. Open will officially get going today at Pebble Beach, and there are plenty of storylines surrounding this one. Can Tiger Woods find his swing again, and pick up yet another win at Pebble? Will Phil Mickelson capture his second major of the season and become the number one-ranked player in the world? Or will Lee Westwood finally end his major troubles and cash in on Sunday?

Ladies and gentlemen, the second major of the season has finally arrived, as the U.S. Open gets underway tomorrow at Pebble Beach. All the big names in the golfing world will take part in the event, with the big two looking to add yet another major to their impressive career resumes. Lee Westwood Wins St. Jude Classic
With the U.S. Open coming up next week at Pebble Beach, we should have expected that something would turn our heads a little this week, and give us some anticipation heading into the year’s second major. Well, that happened, as Lee Westwood picked up the victory this afternoon at the St. Jude Classic…..because, well, it looked like no one else wanted to win the event.
St. Jude Classic TV Schedule
Another big weekend of golf is here, with the St. Jude Classic taking place in Memphis. If you haven’t already done so, be sure to check out my predictions for the tournament, and let me know who you think will pick up the victory. With this being the event that leads into the U.S. Open next week, players will be looking to pick up momentum, and try to use that at Pebble Beach while picking up a major in the process.
Predictions: St. Jude Classic
Welcome ladies and gentlemen to another round of predictions here on Pro Golf Now, as this week, we discuss the St. Jude Classic, which gets underway tomorrow from Memphis. A pretty strong field participating this week, as although the big two aren’t playing, there are still guys like Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy joining in on the action. It should be a fun tournament, so let’s get right to predictions!
Memorial Tournament TV Schedule
Another great week of golf is ready to get underway this morning in Columbus, as the Memorial Tournaments features some of the best talent in the world. Tiger Woods makes his return to the tour, for what should be a very intriguing tournament.
