2015 Zurich Classic Power Rankings
By Danny Norris
The PGA Tour stops by New Orleans, Louisiana for the Zurich Classic. This is typically one of the weaker fields on the PGA Tour schedule and this year is no different.
With the WGC-Match Play Cadillac Championship taking place next week in San Francisco this is a pretty easy skip for most of the top players. However, if you like birdies and eagles this is the tournament for you.
TPC Louisiana is a straight forward course, there isn’t anything too tricky about it and that’s why bombers and short, accurate players have had success and won here in the past.
So, all in all, there is a lot of excitement with the Zurich Classic. Anybody can win any tournament any given week, but that really rings true this week. The past few years have been kind to PGA Tour players without a win.
Seung-Yul Noh won his first PGA Tour event last year, same with Billy Horschel in 2013, and Jason Dufner in 2012. So, the names you find here in the 2015 Zurich Classic power rankings might not be the players to watch for this week.
