Top 10 Golfers Under 30
By Matt Cochran
3.) Anthony Kim
Age: 29
FedEx Ranking: N/A
OWGR: N/A
PGA TOUR Wins: 3
No this is not a joke. Anthony Kim was dominating the game of golf when he was on TOUR. Turning pro in 2006, Kim won three times on TOUR and even set the record at the Masters for most birdies in a round with 11. He had a 2-1-1 record on the 2008 Ryder Cup winning team and was tremendous in the 2009 President’s Cup with a 3-1 record. At the time, AK became the fifth player in 30 years to win three times before the age of 25. Unfortunately, Kim had a run in with injury and hasn’t been seen since 2009, many speculate because of an $20M insurance policy. Imagine if we could see Anthony Kim thrown in the mix with Rory, Spieth, and Rickie on Sundays. Until he turns 30 in June, Kim will remain as one of the top 10 players under the age of 30.
