Whether you realized it or not, the moment Jason Day sank his final putt to win the PGA Championship was a somber moment for golf fans everywhere.

Not because Day won his first major championship (hats off to the Aussie), but because from that moment, there wouldn’t be another major for 231 days.

Sure we have the FedEx Cup Playoffs and the President’s Cup, but I’m already itching for Augusta National and the Masters to start back up. It’s going to be a lonesome eight months until the gates of Augusta open.

In the meantime, all we can do is sit back and reflect on the awesomeness that went on at the four majors this season.

It was certainly a year of ups and downs for many golfers (unless your name is Jordan Spieth), so let’s take a look at the three best and three most disappointing golfers from the 2015 major season.
