Lizette Salas has been on the outside looking in for most of the year so far as the 2015 Solheim Cup Team USA is concerned. Salas, who’s ranked 32nd by Rolex, hasn’t had a strong year and, like Alison Lee, she has played her heart out to qualify for Team USA through the Rolex Rankings. Team USA is going to need Salas’s accuracy off the tee — hitting 80% of the fairways she’s ranked 7th on the Tour — and her superior putting. Averaging 28.9 putts per round, she’s ranked 5th on the Tour. Team USA needs what Salas brings to the team.
