Seventh ranked Suzann Pettersen leads Team Europe by the numbers. With six top-10 finishes that includes a win at the Manulife LPGA Classic, Pettersen’s having a very good 2015 season, the natural follow-on to a 12-year career on the LET and LPGA that includes 23 wins across Tours and well over 100 top-10 finishes.
Thirty-four year old Pettersen has collected two major championship titles, the 2007 LPGA Championship and the 2013 Evian Championship. With seven Solheim Cup appearances and three playing on the International Team at the Lexus Cup, Pettersen is the most experienced match play veteran on either team.
Over her Solheim Cup career Pettersen’s won slightly better than 58% of her points. Her solid tee to green game keeps Pettersen in the Sunday mix in stroke play competition and her tough mental game makes her very hard to beat.
