Stock Up: Jason Day

Day is right on the cusp of becoming a star. After getting the monkey off his back, and winning his first career major at the PGA Championship, Day continued his success by winning at the Barclays. Not only did he win; Day dominated.

Day finished with four-day total of 261 strokes, putting him at -19, which was six whole strokes better than second-place finisher, Henrik Stenson. Day started round four in a close competition for first place, but after a personal best (for this tournament) of 62, he pulled away from the field.

Day now has back-to-back wins for the first time in his career, and the sky is this young golfer’s ceiling. As of right now, Day is a must-watch player going forward. It goes without saying that Day is a clear favorite for the Deutsche Bank tournament coming up in early September.
