Johnson is having arguably the best season of his career. The 39-year-old veteran currently has nine top-10 finishes this season, and only a month ago, he grabbed his first major victory since 2007.
He continued his success at the Barclays and was in contention right into the final day. He may have finished nine strokes behind the lead, but that was good enough to land him tied for fourth, his fourth top-five finish this season.
Johnson is currently the 11 ranked golfer in the world, and if he continues to play at this high of a level, we may see him crack the top ten. Hopefully Johnson can carry this momentum into the Deutsche Bank and BMW tournament.
