With the PGA Tour taking a week off the theme this week has been reflecting on what has happened during the season and what may happen next year.
Earlier in the week, we discussed who may win the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year this year. Now we’ll be looking ahead and predict the winners of the 2016 major championships.
The majors are always on the mind even when they are eight months away and I thought it might be fun to make some picks and see how much they change as we progress into next year.
I’ve done things like this in the past, but this year was the toughest to really predict. With the influx of young talent and with how much depth there is on Tour, it’s really hard to decide on a winner.
Every time I made a decision I would think, “Well, what about so and so?” or “Do you really think this golfer won’t win a major this year?” It’s tough to do, just try it yourself.

Before you see my picks just think to yourself or write in the comments who you think will win the majors next year. It isn’t as easy as you might think. I went back and forth so many times that my head is spinning, figuratively speaking, of course.
I have finally decided on my picks and I’m still not that comfortable with them, but hey, as the kids say these days, it is what it is.
So, with that, let’s get into it and make some way too early predictions for the 2016 major championships.
