If you’ve ever watched the HBO series Entourage, then you understand how much Marky Mark loves the game of golf. Occasionally Wahlberg has to buff up for roles in his movies, but when he’s not getting swoll, golf is his source of exercise.
"“I don’t really try to keep in shape. If I have to do it for a movie, whether it’s being in shape or out of shape, then I’ll do it for the job. That’s part of the gig. But other than that I just like to swing a club.”"
The movie star loves the game so much that he did what any other golf fan would do, he put a driving range in his backyard. He starts and ends his days hitting balls with his kids and appreciates the opportunity he has to spend time enjoying the game with them.
The Good Vibrations singer told Golf Digest:
"I got clubs for them in March, and they’re obsessed with it. I have a driving range in my back yard, and Michael [7] and Brendan [4] are getting up earlier for school so they have 20 minutes to spend on the range before they leave. At the end of the day, we’re hitting balls for another 30 minutes. I never got on the course with my dad, but to be playing golf with my kids–that’s a dream."
Wahlberg recently showed his support for Caitlyn Jenner by saying that he wants to play golf with her. Mark used to play rounds with Bruce Jenner and would like to continue with Caitlyn.
