In the movie The Legend of Bagger Vance, a once promising golfer named Rannulph Junuh had his life and golf game spiraling out of control. Along came a mystical man who helped Junuh get his game back on track and caddy him to success. That mystical man was Bagger Vance played by none other than Will Smith.
Matt Damon played Rannulph Junuh and the two spent most of the time playing golf on set. Will bragged to NYRock.com that he would take it to Damon, “Most of his time was spent on the range, while I was actually playing. But yeah, I could tear him up out there.”
Big Willie is a member of Sherwood Country Club outside of Los Angeles and has been spotted playing throughout the area with friends. His swing doesn’t look too bad either. Just ask Rory McIlroy.
The two ran into each other at a golf course in Dubai back in January of 2014. McIlroy took to Twitter to share his encounter and even complimented the Fresh Prince on his swing.
