#42: Keegan Bradley–This native New Englander’s rise to PGA Tour stardom is one of the best stories of the past few seasons. Bradley wasn’t the best player on his college team–heck, he wasn’t even the best player on his high school team. However, after earning his PGA Tour card at the penultimate Q-School, he amazed us all, putting up a multi-win season that included a victory at the 2011 PGA Championship. A year later, Bradley won a WGC and teamed up with Phil Mickelson at the Ryder Cup to help earn three points for Team USA. At that time, it looked like he was one of the young Americans who could hang with Rory McIlroy; now, mired in a three year victory drought and having slipped all the way down to world No. 49, it’s clear that Bradley probably won’t achieve that level of greatness. Still, he deserves props for a couple of big wins and his match play prowess.
