#34: Kenny Perry–This Kentucky native notched 11 PGA Tour wins north of the age of 40. That’s more than Phil Mickelson and Jim Furyk have been able to manage–combined. Perry’s late-career surge was one of the more surprising developments of the Tiger Woods era, but it was nevertheless a welcome one. In 2008, his age-47 season, he racked up three wins and played before his hometown crowd in the Ryder Cup at Valhalla. Thanks partly to Perry’s leadership, Team USA won its only Ryder Cup victory of this century. Not a year later, he nearly had a career week at Augusta National, losing the Masters to Angel Cabrera in a playoff. Since turning 50, Perry has enjoyed success on the Champions Tour, winning three majors over the past three years on that circuit.
