Brian Harman – Two Aces, One Round

There were plenty of fantastic shots to choose from this season, but it doesn’t get much better than a hole-in-one. The only thing is, it can be hard to judge what makes one ace better than the other.

More from Jordan Spieth

Luckily for me, Brian Harman made it an easy decision. The award is Best Shot of 2015, but this is a two-in-one special.

Not too long ago at the Barclays, Harman finished tied for 31st at Plainfield CC, but it’s what he did on Sunday that put himself in the PGA TOUR record book.

Harman approached the No. 3 hole and stared at the flag 184 yards away. Pulling out his 7-iron, he struck the ball and watched it go in the hole for his first ace on TOUR. It took him 1,567 par 3s on TOUR, but he finally had his first one.

11 holes later, he came to the No. 14 220-yard par 3. This time he pulled out a 4-iron and had déjà vu. There he stood with his second hole-in-one of of the day. Amazingly, two others had done this feat before him, but he’ll join a very small club as being one of three guys to hit two aces in a single round on TOUR.

Beers are on Harman!
