Amateur of the Year
Ollie Schniederjans
Technically Ollie is no longer an amateur since he turned pro earlier this summer, but his amateur campaign on TOUR was impressive this season.

He missed the cut in his first TOUR event as an amateur at the Valspar Championship, but all he needed was one go at it before he found something to click. His next event was the U.S. Open where he opened with a 69, but ended up tying for 42nd.
Ollie then headed to St Andrews for the British Open where he had his break through. After opening with 70-72-70 in his first three rounds, Schniederjans recorded the second lowest round on Sunday to finish tied for 12th.
His performance at the Old Course was good enough that Ollie decided to turn pro shortly after. Keep an eye on this guy to make a splash on TOUR next season.
