Patrick Reed–This Augusta State product was a hard-luck player in 2015. Although he was a cut-making machine and turned in top 25s like nobody’s business, Reed notched just four top 10s. True, one of them was a victory, but it came at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions, an early-season event that hosted just 33 players this year. After losing a playoff to Jordan Spieth at the Valspar Championship, Reed didn’t contend for much of the season, not truly resurfacing until a recent tie for fourth at the Deutsche Bank. While Reed did well to pick up another win and stay near the top of the world rankings in 2015, he’s now further behind peers like Spieth and Day than he was at the beginning of the year. Call it a wash. Grade: B-
