Dustin Johnson–Eleven top 10s in 21 starts, including a win at the WGC-Cadillac Championship and two runner-ups, were the highlights of a successful campaign for DJ. Of course, one of those runner-ups came as the result of a missed four-footer on the 18th hole of the U.S. Open, but just because the result could have been that much better doesn’t mean that it’s unimpressive. The truth is that a campaign like this one was the perfect follow-up to Johnson’s truncated 2014 season. While he didn’t bag a major, pulling one out would have been gravy. The important thing was that Johnson adjusted to life on the PGA Tour as a new father and is primed for next year. Grade: B+
