Adam Scott–This Aussie’s decision to play a light schedule in 2015 (only 14 events so far this year!) was supposed to help him get primed for the majors, but the strategy wound up backfiring. In so few starts, Scott managed just three top 10s and was bounced from the FedEx Cup playoffs after the first round. Still, two of those top 10s did come at the majors, a tie for fourth at Chambers Bay and a tie for tenth at St Andrews, so it’s clear that he can still contend on championship courses. If he works hard on his game throughout the winter (and if he can get comfortable with a non-anchored putting stroke), Scott will be ready to forget about 2015 and move on to next year. Grade: D
