Speaking of golfers that have played well here at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship; Shane Lowry is another horse for the course.
Last year, Lowry finished T-6, in 2013 he finished T-3, in 2012 he finished T-34, in 2011 he finished T-45, and in 2010 he finished T-53.
Lowry is a very good player who has had a bit of a breakout year with his top ten finish at the U.S. Open, followed by his win at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
Plus, you can throw in the fact that Lowry hasn’t missed a cut at an European Tour event this year and I don’t look for him to miss the cut this week.
When you put all his skills together, how he’s playing this year and how he has played at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, I look for Lowry to be in contention this Sunday. Plus, Lowry is an exciting player and is always one to follow in general anyway.
