No. 11: Phil Mickelson/Steven Bowditch–These two have combined for zero top 10s since July 1, so if you’re looking for strong current form, search elsewhere. Over that stretch, Mickelson’s only top 25s came at the season’s final two majors, so it’s clear that he still relishes the big stage, but Bowditch has actually been more consistent, notching four top 15s over the same period of time. However, his all-or-nothing approach makes him a mystery as he heads to his first international match play event. All things considered, you have to give the nod to Mickelson on this one. Say what you will about his performance this season, but Lefty’s been at his best when it matters most. Advantage: Team USA
