The wonderful thing about playing in a new country is the opportunity to try new things and take in a culture the players aren’t necessarily used to. The Americans have had some culture shock this week trying to explain to the South Korean cooks how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a staple for their success.

When they aren’t complaining about the PB&Js, Team USA has been trying different foods they may not see in America. One of the first things they tried was Korean barbecue.

Jordan Spieth, the youngest golfer on Team USA, breaks down his thoughts of the food. He wasn’t a fan of no barbecue sauce and even stayed away from the items he were unsure of.

Rickie Fowler on the other hand, took down everything in sight. Spieth went so far as to say Fowler licked the bowl clean. Luckily, for Spieth, he has the PB&Js to stick to.
